I've run across what must be a newbie snag when trying to create a new project. When I create a project, and then go into its properties, seemingly no matter what resolution combination I choose, neither 16:9 nor 4:3 is available to me as an option. They display, but are "greyed out." Checks to see if I'm using DaVinci Resolve. If so continue.. Checks to see if I'm on the Edit page (as in the Edit page icon at the bottom is in color and not greyed out). If so continue.. You can see if you display node graph by right-clicking, which is helpful to copy and paste adjustments for other clips. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version.
